Introducing Tad, the Bilingual Frog

This is Tad.
Tad is bilingual and he loves to count to four.
Tad encourages others to count to four with him.
If you like to count to four in either English, Spanish, or both, look for Tad.
He can usually be spotted hanging out with a toad named Todd.
Strangely, if one pronounces Tad in Spanish, it sounds a lot like Todd.
So in a way, that makes them not only friends, but also tocallos.

Ah Tad. Tad and Todd have lots of relatives down here in the guay. I think I saw Ted and his family in the Chaco. They come out at night and like to hang out on the ceilings of banos eating mosquitos. I think Todd and his kind are some kind of gods because I have seen images either of concrete, plastic or pictures all over the place. Can Tad count in other languages too. Eitehr way uno, one, dos, two, tres, three, cuatro, four.

Tad has made some attempts in the past to learn Portugues, but he has a memory problem.

I also tried to count past four a few times, but to no avail.

The only reason he remembers how to count to four is because the numbers are written on his shirt.

How he is able to do this in both Enlish and Spanish remains a mystery.

It is still uncertain if his name is Tad or Todd. When he introduces himself in English it sounds like Tad, but when he introduces himself in Spanish, it sounds like Todd.

It could be that he has trouble remembering his own name.

It is not surprising that he has relatives in the guay.

Most of his relatives around here live in or near sewers. I suppose they figure that if they cannot control their urine, they may as well swim in it.

he may be a Guarani frog with a learning disability. you see, in Guarani, only numbers up to five exist. sure, contemporary scholars who have since transcribed guarani words into written language have expanded the number line a bit, but back in the day people only counted to five.

Hey what's the deal with the coqui in Puerto Rico. Those little bastards can count all night long. I tnink they are limited by how fast they can count and the length of the night.
